The Welcome To Winter event at Snowplanet in Auckland is your chance to be one of the first in the world to see the season's gear! On Saturday May 18 HEAD will be set up at snow planet with gear for you to try. Tickets are on sale now and if you're in fast enough you could score half price tickets!

Not only will there be skis to demo but you can ride with pros such as Robett Hollis, Nick Hyne, Anna Wilcox, Tom McGaw, Rose Battersby, Byron Wells, Beau Wells and Jackson Wells - you can even get a few pointers. Then take some time to suss out the latest news from Ruapehu, Mt Cheesman, the Winter Games, Snow IQ, Snow Sports New Zealand and 360wanaka-queenstown.com.

Plus there'll be fun giveaways, poster signings, music and food.

10.30am: Snow Sports New Zealand Fundamentals Sessions
12pm: ‘Ride with a Pro’ sessions with Anna Wilcox, Tom McGaw, Byron Wells, Beau Wells, Jackson Wells, Rose Battersby and Nick Hyne
2pm: Poster signing with the pros
3pm: Giveaways and Fundamentals Awards
5pm: 365 Race Academy GS Race
